Media advisory – Annual Winter Celebration at Rideau Hall

OTTAWA, ON, Feb. 5, 2026 /CNW/ – Members of the media are invited to cover this year’s Winter Celebration, a vibrant tapestry of winter traditions held on the grounds of Rideau Hall.

Media are welcome to meet visitors and take in the outdoor activities and performances.

Date:               Saturday, February 7, 2026

Time:              from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

Location:        Rideau Hall Grounds

• To guarantee your access, we ask that you please confirm your attendance with the Rideau Hall Press Office via email at media@gg.ca 
• Media are asked to arrive at the Princess Gate; parking will be available for media who have registered in advance.
• Photos of the event will be taken by the Governor General’s official photographer and will be made available upon request.
