IGM FINANCIAL INC. AMENDS NORMAL COURSE ISSUER BID
WINNIPEG, MB, Nov. 11, 2025 /CNW/ – IGM Financial Inc. (“IGM” or “the Corporation”) (TSX: IGM) today announces that the Toronto Stock Exchange (the “TSX”) has accepted the notice filed by the Company to amend its normal course issuer bid (the “NCIB”) effective as of November 13, 2025.
The amendment increases the maximum number of common shares (the “Shares”) of the Corporation that may be repurchased from the current 5,000,000 Shares to 6,000,000 Shares, representing approximately 2.5 percent of the 238,038,544 common shares outstanding on December 9, 2024. Purchases under the NCIB began on December 23, 2024, and will end no later than December 22, 2025.
Based on the average daily trading volume of 250,384 common shares for the six months prior to the commencement of the NCIB, daily repurchases will be limited to 62,596 common shares, other than block purchase exceptions. Purchases will continue to be made by means of open market transactions through the facilities of the TSX and/or alternative Canadian trading systems. Any common shares purchased pursuant to the NCIB will be cancelled. In connection with the amended NCIB, IGM has amended its automatic purchase plan to reflect the increase in shares.
The amendment to the NCIB will facilitate additional share repurchases to mitigate the dilutive effect of stock options issued under the Corporation’s stock option plan and for other capital management purposes.
As of November 3, 2025, an aggregate of 4,170,800 Shares have been purchased under the current NCIB.
